Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description: As a Facilities Maintenance Technician at Appliance Direct, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities throughout all locations in the South Florida area. Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Conducting regular inspections to identify and address potential issues
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
• Coordinating with external contractors for specialized repairs and services
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Assisting with facility upgrades and renovations as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair various building systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
