We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with QuickBooks Online. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is vital in supporting the overall financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Forecast future expenditures & payments.
- B2B communication in-regards to financial payments.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Process payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage discrepancies.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in budget preparation.
- Utilize accounting software such as Quickbooks - Online to manage financial data efficiently.
- Monitor and record debits and credits to maintain accurate account balances.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial software, particularly QuickBooks Online.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits, credits, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prepare clear and concise financial reports.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.
- Good communication skills for collaboration with team members across departments.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required.
