Job Summary
The sales position is usually the first contact a customer has with our company. You are the face of the store and almost all communication goes through the sales department. A salesperson must have great oral and written communication skills and the ability to multitask. This position is very fast paced and includes answering the phone, scheduling deliveries and service appointments, accessing customer needs and finding the best options for them, and staying abreast of product knowledge to help customers make informed decisions.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on product features and benefits to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas.
- Assist in inventory management and conducting inventory counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customer groups.
