We are working with a Fortune 200 Corporation which provides services and products to the upstream oil and natural gas industry and is one of the world's largest oil field service companies.
Looking for a Electrical Software Support Engineer
Required Skills:
- 7 years of experience in software development.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
- Proficiency in National Instruments Labview.
- Hands-on experience with Electrical assembly or design.
- Hands on electrical experience. Not just software programming, but electrical hardware knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Software related support for the operations side of CMT equipment has increased due to new hardware and new equipment. The sustainment of our legacy systems and software needs attention in order to keep our fleet running efficiently without delaying high profile projects like the Next Generation Cementing Trailer and the Hybrid Cementing Trailer.
- Applies skills to implementing leading edge technologies and enhancing the Technical Software Development process.
- Incumbent is able to operate unsupervised and is called on to consult for the most complex design projects.
- Conceives, proposes, and sells new ideas and products in the engineering organization and guides their implementation to a final product.
- Works on designs that span several groups or affect hardware decisions.
Salary : $70 - $80
