ServiceNow Application Developer

The ServiceNow Application Developer is a senior technical resource with advanced administration capability and can design, build, and customize ServiceNow applications and services. The Developer works across applications, delivers new functionality and innovative solutions, and supports the entire development lifecycle.

The ServiceNow Application Developer has a software development background and administration background covering ServiceNow Advanced System Administration, Scripting in ServiceNow, and Application Creation in ServiceNow.

The ServiceNow developer is responsible for the best solution to achieve the design and functionalities of the ServiceNow apps in the Service Portal, with a unique visionary, and system-level design thinker, provide a Service Portal and product dynamically adaptable as a ServiceNow Plugin.

Responsibilities may include the following:
- Develop, configure, and maintain brand new ServiceNow instance and administer to comply with System upgrades
- Designs and develops new ServiceNow applications and services
- Assists ServiceNow Platform Owner in estimating the release level of effort
- Provides mentoring and guidance for ServiceNow System Administrators or Junior Developers
- Takes ownership of complex business requirements and works them to completion

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Utilize OOTB capabilities of the ServiceNow Portal, Performance Analytics, and Dashboards
- Prepare detailed mockups, prototypes, and behavior specifications
- Participate in the development and maintenance of the Platform Design system to provide examples of core platform components and best practices
- Develop UI layouts including controls, labels, and graphical elements for software on both mobile and desktop platforms with an eye towards experience unification.

Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- Certified ServiceNow Advanced System Administration
- ServiceNow Developer at least 7 years of experience
- At least 4-5 years of visual and interaction design, with 2 years of Experience in Design
