Primary Purpose of Position: Provides leadership for all aspects of ICE’s operations; to include short and long-term goals, growth, profit, and return on investment. Develops, implements, and models ICE’s vision, mission, and culture.
Essential functions:
- Manages and directs the White Salmon location toward its primary goals and objectives.
- Upholds standards of excellence, quality, and customer service
- Collaborates with CEO and leads a team of senior management to implement short- and long-term strategic goals, and related plans and policies, maintains profitability and optimizes productivity. Develops and delegates objectives that are clear and measurable.
- Drives execution and urgency throughout organization with focus towards revenue growth and customer diversification while maintaining profitability of ICE.
- Assesses and plans for risks while ensuring they are monitored and minimized
- Develops, implements, and promotes ICE’s culture through communication, collaboration, and cooperation to create a spirit of unity in the organization
- Reviews the financial results of all operations, comparing them with ICE objectives and taking appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance and results
- Evaluates the work of other managers within the company, assigns performance goals, providing resources, and coaching leaders to accomplish such goals.
- Oversees employment decisions at the senior management level.
- Delegates responsibilities to employees while enforcing all laws, regulations, policies, procedure, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values.
- Presents regular reports on the status of site operations to all stakeholders (including CEO and employees)
Additional Functions:
- Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of Applied Aerospace
- Travels as needed to meet business needs.
Preferred Education, Knowledge & Experience
- Extensive professional experience in leadership roles
- An advanced degree in business administration, or engineering, is REQUIRED
- Demonstrated use of KPI’s to improve results
- Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment
- Results oriented strategic thinker and planner
- Hands on participant in varied functions of the business
- Function independently as well as part of a team
- Communicate effectively in English; both written & oral
- Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold others accountable
- Effectively manages job stress & interacts effectively w/others
Reporting:
- Direct report to CEO
- Supervises: Senior Management Team
- Interacts with customers, vendors, sales, finance, engineering, human resources & operations for problem solving and continuous improvement.
