Job Summary: The NC Programmer at Applied Aerospace Structures Corp (AASC) will utilize computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software. Create NC programs from customer or internal engineering data. This role requires expertise in Mastercam and a solid understanding of ANSI Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. The NC Programmer plays a critical role in transforming designs into precise, machine-ready instructions to drive our CNC-controlled machines for aerospace manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Create NC Machining Programs to aid in the manufacturing of flight and tooling machined components.
- Maintains NC Program revision status and archives computer files per AASC procedures.
- Generates associated tool list and setup sheets for NC Programs.
- Analyzes data to determine feasibility of product.
- Follows engineering data control procedures.
Requirements:
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality5
- years’ experience with 5-Axis
- SolidWorks, Creo, Catia or NX7
- years’ experience with NC Programming.
- Working knowledge of CAM software: Mastercam & Vericut.
- Skilled in the use of ANSI Y14.5 – Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- Must have strong interpersonal and good communication skills.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong experience operating a CNC machine
- Familiarity with a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience in AutoCAD

Salary Range: $35.00 – $55.00 per hour. This is the estimated range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting, with actual pay determined by factors such as education, experience, skills, and organizational needs.
