Duties
- Provide attentive and loving care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development, including educational games and creative play.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime.
- Assist with daily routines such as diaper changes, naps, and bathing as needed.
- Monitor children's behavior, providing guidance and discipline when necessary to foster positive habits.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's activities, milestones, and any concerns that may arise.
- Administer first aid when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of the children under your care.
Requirements
- Proven experience in babysitting or nannying, with specific skills in infant care and toddler care.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is preferred; experience with preschool-aged children is a plus.
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to educate through play while ensuring a safe environment.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR is highly desirable. But willingness to learn acceptable.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents.
- Ability to maintain a clean living space while caring for children.
- A patient, nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for working with children of all ages.
