Job Description:
This position is designed to meet the supervised fieldwork requirements for the BCBA or BCaBA credential. You will provide ABA therapy for approximately half of the time (what the BACB considers restricted activities), and then spend approximately half of the time or more acquiring the skills necessary to demonstrate competence in behavior analysis and the skills necessary to interact effectively with consumers, supervisors, families (what the BACB considers unrestricted activities).
Job Requirements:
- Enrolled in and begun BACB approved coursework at a college or university
- Provide ABA Therapy to patients
- Willing and able to travel to nearby center(s) on an as-needed basis
- Previous ABA experience or experience in a related field
- Able to become Professional Crisis Management (PCM) certified
- Train staff and caregivers on behavior-analytic programs or content under the direction of a BCBA
- Conduct behavior-analytic assessments (e.g., functional analyses, stimulus preference assessments) under the direction of a BCBA
- Analyze data and suggest modifications
- Write and revise behavior-analytic programs under the direction of a BCBA
