About Applied Behavior Center for Autism:
At the Applied Behavior Center for Autism, our mission is to provide individualized, evidence-based services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.
Position Overview:
The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations within the center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based behavioral interventions for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This leadership role involves supervising clinical staff, developing and implementing treatment programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with other departments to optimize service delivery. The Clinical Director will foster a positive clinical environment, provide professional development opportunities for staff, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in the center.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of clinical experience working with children with autism and developmental disabilities, including at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $82,000 - $88,000 per year, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership & Supervision:
Oversee and supervise a team of clinicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the implementation of high-quality, evidence-based treatments.
- Conduct regular clinical supervision sessions for staff, including behavior analysts and therapists, to review cases, treatment progress, and challenges.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for clinical staff to foster career growth and improve treatment outcomes.
Ensure that all clinical staff maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Program Development & Treatment Planning:
Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized treatment plans for children with autism, ensuring that they are tailored to each child’s unique needs and goals.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments as needed based on data and progress.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in autism treatment to ensure that programs are using best practices.
Collaborate with other departments, including administration and family services, to provide holistic and integrated care for patients.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all clinical services are provided in accordance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
- Oversee the maintenance of patient records, ensuring that documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular quality assurance checks, including audits of treatment data, session notes, and documentation, to ensure clinical accuracy and adherence to program standards.
Collaboration & Family Engagement:
Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and external professionals to ensure coordinated care and effective communication.
- Provide families with regular updates on their child’s progress, addressing concerns and offering guidance on how to support treatment at home.
Engage in team meetings and case discussions to share insights, address challenges, and collaborate on treatment strategies.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Collect and analyze data to track the effectiveness of clinical programs and interventions.
- Use data to drive clinical decisions and improve treatment outcomes for patients.
Prepare reports and present findings to the leadership team, offering recommendations for program improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with program development and implementation in a clinical or educational setting.
- Strong background in data analysis and using data to inform treatment decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and foster a team-oriented approach to care.
- In-depth knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, evidence-based interventions, and best practices in autism treatment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a clinical team.
- Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans and behavioral interventions.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards, including HIPAA, Medicaid, and insurance guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or a related field.
Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent certification required.
Work Environment:
The work environment is primarily within the Applied Behavior Center for Autism’s clinical and administrative facilities. The Clinical Director will work closely with clinical staff, patients, and their families to ensure the highest standards of care.
Occasional travel (about once per month) will be required. The Clinical Director will be responsible for the Evansville, Jasper, Vincennes, Terre Haute, and Indianapolis West locations.
