Applied Behavior Consultants, Inc. is hiring for part time staff to work 1:1 with children 18 months and older who are diagnosed with autism and other developmental disorders. Staff will work in our Stockton Center, homes or schools based on client needs.
In this position you can help our clients learn to communicate, play, make friends and decrease challenging behaviors. All team members must have a genuine desire to help children and their families achieve goals and connect to the community as a whole through the use of ABC's R.E.A.L model (www.abcreal.com)
Experience in ABA is not required but Applicants must have at least 6 months experience with individuals with special needs*, be committed to attending shifts daily, on time, with enthusiasm, patience and compassion for all clients.
*Can be babysitting, caring for family members, tutoring, etc.
We are hiring primarily for afternoon shifts (Scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 12:00 PM- 5:00 PM and Saturday Mornings 8:30- 12:30.
Base Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older and have High School diploma/GED completed prior to applying.
- Driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle to travel as needed to client's homes. Applicant must be listed as covered driver on the policy.
- Ability to pass California DOJ & FBI fingerprint and background clearance.
- Must be able to run, walk and engage with clients for long periods of time.
- Must be able to provide negative TB test and proof of immunizations.
- Must have availability to work within one of the shifts listed above.
- 6 months experience with special needs.

Pay Range: $19.00- $20.00 per hour.
The salary range is the range ABC, Inc., in good faith, believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. Even within the range, the actual compensation will vary depending on the above factors as well as market/business considerations. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable under the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans.
The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, benefits, or any other form of compensation and benefits that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
