Job Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage IEPs through the creating and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student with special needs.
  • Monitor student progress through tracking and assessing student development, making necessary adjustments to keep them on the path to success.
  • Responsible for managing challenging behaviors and implementing behavior support plans.
  • Work closely with paraprofessionals, support staff, and parents to build a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Advocate for students ensuring compliance with educational laws and advocate for the rights and needs of students with disabilities.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning space where every student feels supported and can thrive.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in special education, education or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong experience in creating, implementing, and managing individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Possesses a collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for Special Education through patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students with special needs succeed.
  • Preferred / Nice-to-have :

  • Master's degree in special education, education or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
