Key Responsibilities:
The CMM/PCMM Operator will be responsible for operating Coordinate Measurement Machines to inspect and measure dimensions of finished work pieces. The ideal candidate will have experience with CMM machines, programming, and methods implementation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Inspect and measure dimensions of finished work pieces using precision measuring instruments.
- Implement efficient methods for CMM processes, reducing scrap percentage and increasing efficiency.
- Collaborate with production teams to collect and analyze data for measurement systems analysis, capability studies, design of experiments, gauge R&R, etc.
- Identify and handle non-conforming products and conduct internal audits for compliance to AS9100 standards.
Requirements:
- Training/experience with operating Coordinate Measurement Machines, preferably with programming experience.
- Previous experience in manufacturing assembly environments or quality control roles.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications, including Access, Excel, and Word.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
