About the Role
The Dimensional Inspection Expert will be responsible for performing dimensional inspections and tests on various components and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
- MUST BE ABLE TO READ CMM REPORTS.
- Use micrometers, calipers, and depth micrometers.
- MUST BE ACCURATE AND PRECISE IN MEASUREMENTS.
Qualifications
- Training/experience with operating Coordinate Measurement Machine; programming experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing assembly environment.
- Previous quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent understanding of GD&T and ability to train others.
