Production Technician
We are seeking driven individuals looking for their next opportunity to join our team at ACT Aerospace. We specialize in the design and production of composite products supporting commercial and military aerospace programs.
No previous manufacturing or aerospace experience is necessary, as on-the-job training is provided. Entry-level positions start at $12.50/hr, with additional compensation depending on experience.
Successful candidates will have:
- Consistent attendance and ability to arrive to work on time
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team member and contribute to a positive work environment
- Solution-oriented/problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow written work instructions and procedures with minimal instruction
- Ability to perform routine tasks
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8 hours minimum)
- Ability to use simple math
- Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays when required
- Ability to work with common hand tools and possess good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift, hold, and carry up to 40 pounds unaided
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks to build and assemble composite parts with high quality and in a timely and safe manner
- Complete production records, work orders, and area logs as work is completed
- Assist in other areas in the shop as needed
- Maintain order and cleanliness of production work areas
- Strive for a positive attitude and continually improve processes
- Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures resulting in quality parts
- Understand and adhere to all environmental health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent recommended but not required
- Must be a United States Citizen or provide documentation of work eligibility
