The Senior Vice President for Engineering (SVPE) has primary responsibility for development of sources
and related technologies based on ultrashort pulsed (USP) lasers. Duties include oversight of advanced
development efforts and new product-development through release, with managerial responsibilities for
Development and Manufacturing Engineering resources. Responsibilities include preparation and review
of Proposals and White Papers, Customer interface, assessment of new technologies, and updates to
Technology and Product Roadmaps. This position is central to technical decision-making and execution
for evolving applications and missions at our Tucson, AZ site. This position reports to the CEO.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Will supervise a team of Scientists, Engineers and Technicians and monitor budgets and progress-to-plan.
Responsibilities
- Oversee development of products based on, and for use with, USP laser sources and systems.
- Define and prioritize Engineering tasks and goals, and manage resources, to ensure the timely
delivery and success of projects and programs.
