ESTIMATED PAY RANGE
$47,000 - $55,000
JOB SUMMARY
As a Mechanical Shop Technician in Fargo, North Dakota, you may: do machine modification, rework, assembly, and some fabrication or welding occasionally; work hands-on as a shop mechanic - similar to an automotive mechanic, but working on fun and interesting new designs of high-tech machinery; work with support groups such as Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A 2-year degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Technician, Manufacturing Systems Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Hands-on mechanical skills required
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems required
- Agricultural, construction, automotive, or similar background preferred
- Experience with 3D modeling software a plus
