ESTIMATED PAY RANGE$50,000 - $70,000 annually, DOE
JOB SUMMARYAs a Procurement Associate, you may: assist with purchasing activity for new product development programs; execute sourcing and tooling plans to ensure product launch meets program targets for quality, cost, and timing; work with suppliers to ensure commitments and project deliverables; assist with negotiation and implementation of technical modifications; manage the prototype ordering (RFQ, negotiation, ordering) as required, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of previous experience in procurement or supply chain management; an Associate's Degree or higher is strongly preferred
- Experience with purchasing and vendor communication required; vendor management experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, required
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting required
