Applied Industrial Technologies a leading process flow control company. As an Office Team Leader, you will have an immediate impact on our Distribution Center’s performance and in customer satisfaction. You’ll join a tight-knit team serving multiple service centers, internal associates, and loyal, long-term customers. Productivity and accuracy are key measures for success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the planning, supervision and performance of all office functions in the distribution center.
- Instruct and direct office personnel to achieve and maintain a high level of service to branches and customers including timely, accurate responses to inquiries and the ability to respond to exceptional needs with exceptional service.
- Active involvement in the Company's Total Quality Management process as evidenced by continuous improvement of processes directed toward reducing costs, improving cycle time, increasing sales/gross profit and customer satisfaction.
- Carries out policies and procedures, and works to the performance standards as defined for Distribution Centers.
- Continuous development through reading, schools, seminars and on-the-job training.
Position Requirements:
- 3-5 years business, Lean and or customer service experience
- Persuasive communicator / strong facilitator / structured and logical thinker
- Solid computer skills: Excel, Power Point, Access, etc.
- WMS experience preferred
- Lean background preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Ability to challenge the status quo
- Self-directed, proven leader
