Summary
We are currently looking for a 3rd shift Batching Technician. As a Batching Technician, you will be responsible for producing a variety of over-the-counter health care products in a complex and proprietary process. Your primary goal will be to duplicate products using correct formulation and mixing instructions in order to comply with quality specifications.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Batching Supervisor, you will be responsible for following instructions on weighing, transporting and mixing required ingredients in bulk tanks
- Complying with safety requirements, (GMP’s) Good Manufacturing Practices as well as other company policies and guidelines
- Hooking up hoses, pumps and lines for bulk product transfers
- Communicating with Quality Control regarding tank test samples and filter checks
- Maintaining sanitation and cleaning for batching rooms, tanks and all other batching equipment
- Completing all required documentation for batching operations
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous batching experience
- Forklift Certification
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- General knowledge of mathematical skills (measurements/formulas)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team-oriented
- Detail-oriented
