Job Title: Quality Program Manager

Location: Gloucester, MA

Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be considered a subject matter expert in managing company-wide, cross-functional quality programs and related business processes.

This includes defining, specifying, and implementing standards, methods, and procedures for developing quality programs.

  • Developing, delivering, and cascading quality training and courses.
  • Maintaining current quality training to ensure compatibility with current programs.
  • Establishing, influencing, and managing multiple business segments with a focus on business and operational results through continuous improvement methods.
  • Providing leadership and support to subordinates in meeting quality assurance system requirements along with department and company goals and objectives, prioritizing safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
  • Evaluating the performance and effectiveness of audit staff at project completion.
  • Developing direct reports via IDP, EDR, continuous feedback, and annual performance review.
  • Maintaining an ongoing quality improvement program aimed at enhancing the Company's quality systems, controlling manufacturing processes, and improving end-product quality.
  • Selecting, evaluating, and managing employees to ensure efficient operations of the function.
  • Oversighting division's ISO Certification process.

This role requires managing multiple related teams, setting organizational priorities, and allocating resources effectively.

The successful candidate identifies and resolves complex technical, operational, and organizational problems, demonstrating expertise in analysis and decision-making.

Interpersonal Skills

This position influences others internally and externally, including senior management, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant technical knowledge of mechanical and/or technical manufacturing processes with prior quality experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong MS Office and general computer skills.
  • SAP experience.
  • Ability to read prints.
  • Prior quality system audit (ISO 9001 or equivalent), Lean certification, and ion implantation experience are pluses.

Compensation

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors, including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
