Position Description
As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation per health code.
- Ensure breakdown of station, label and store food in accordance with procedures at end of shift.
- Maintain work area clean and free of clutter.
- Assist in the daily delivery and pick-up of catering orders in various locations.
Position Requirements
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- Basic knife handling skills and knowledge of food.
- Familiarity with sanitation, cleanliness, and safe food handling practices.
- Competent at multitasking in a fast-paced environment and working under strict deadlines.
- Foundational understanding of banquet set-up.
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive, problem-solving mindset.
- Team player who works well with others and succeeds in a highly collaborative environment.
- Work with a high degree of autonomy with a focus on customer service.
