Position Description
The SAP PM Business Analyst (BA) provides business process analysis and SAP configuration expertise to identify problems and realize opportunities for improvement to Applied Medical’s business operations. The BA supports Applied Medical’s internal customers by maintaining and expanding the functionality of SAP in the Plant Maintenance module.
As an SAP PM Business Analyst, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities during the designated periods:
Within your first 30 to 60 days:

- Learn and familiarize yourself with departmental and business processes and relevant software technologies
- Participate in the development and implementation of new solutions
- Engage with various internal teams and business functions, particularly the Maintenance and Calibration teams
- Understand teams’ needs and identify opportunities to improve or automate processes related to Plant Maintenance
Within your first 60 to 90 days:

- Design prototype solutions and mockups to gain consensus on functional requirements
Ongoing:

- Support and maintain existing SAP enterprise systems, focusing on SAP PM
- Collaborate with global team members to ensure the successful completion and implementation of tasks and projects within SAP
- Continuously acquire knowledge and skills in enterprise scale application design, development, and implementation of systems, such as SAP and web applications
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements aligned with Plant Maintenance best practices
- Provide subject matter expertise as the functional owner of SAP PM
- Resolve issues and requests accurately and in a timely manner
- Facilitate system understanding and assist in the development of training materials related to Plant Maintenance
- Participate in software validation activities to ensure that system and software solutions are designed to user specifications and for intended use
Position Requirements
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- At least 5 years working in Information Systems or related field.
- More than 8 years of experience using SAP Plant Maintenance components in a dynamic business environment performing business analysis and process design.
- Skilled in configuration and use of the SAP Plant Maintenance module.
- Clear understanding of topics in plant maintenance, such as maintenance notifications, task lists, refurbishment, and maintenance reports.
- Ability to embrace consistent change.
- Seek to create better systems using novel ideas and exceptional problem-solving dexterity.
- Outstanding interpersonal capabilities, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong team-based work ethic with a customer-focused, service-oriented mindset.
- Manage requirements and practice effective scope management.
Preferred
Proven cross-functional knowledge of the following requirements is preferred:
- Quality Management (QM).
