Overview
We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and possess excellent project coordination skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise construction projects from conception to completion
- Coordinate and oversee construction activities on-site
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress
- Conduct project coordination meetings with stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Monitor construction site activities and address any issues that arise
-Travels out of town to jobsite locations on a weekly basis
-Directly Supervises from two to five people
-Coaches and Counsels supervisors and superintendents in policies, procedures, taking disciplinary action when necessary
-Interact with DOT project engineers, inspectors, and customers as required
-Inspects completed work to ensure quality standards are being met
-Assists in putting together completed quantities on a weekly basis per crew to facilitate a billing process
-Turns in certifications, material specifications to DOT officials upon request
-Attends Pre-Construction and Pre-Bid Meetings when needed
-Helps Assist in planning who attends safety meetings and when
-Puts together production schedules and other live documents to help coordinate projects for API and customer projects
Qualifications
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in construction site management
- Excellent time management abilities
- Background in construction management or related field
- Familiarity with project scheduling and budgeting
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within a team

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
