Principal Communications Network Manager/Engineer - Security Clearance Required

The Mission Concepts & Capabilitis (MCC) division of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a motivated, energetic Principal Communications Network Manager / Engineer to support the Navy in the development and application of cutting-edge high-performance computing (HPC) software and network architectures. This contingent position, expected to start late summer or early fall 2024, will support the Office of Naval Research and the Naval Research Laboratory on-site in the National Capital Region, from ARA facilities, and via telecommuting when approved.

The successful candidate for this position will :

• Develop, implement, test, and maintain HPC high-speed communication networks and IP infrastructure
• Analyze existing HPC communication networks and make recommendations for upgrades, presenting findings to senior Government officials

This position is contingent upon award of a contract (one base year four option years) expected in late summer or early fall 2024 supporting the Naval Research Laboratory. The work location is on-site in the National Capital Region, from ARA facilities, and via telecommuting when approved.
