What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emerging Technologies Support Program Analyst position at Applied Research Associates, Inc?
The Missions, Concepts and Capabilities (MCC) division of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking an energetic Emerging Technologies Support Program Analyst to support program oversight of and advocacy for leading-edge Science & Technology for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)). In this position the employee will recommend adjustments to the DoD’s science and technology strategies for emerging technology areas through research and direct interface with the Department of Defense, other government agencies, industry, and academia. The employee would have the responsibilities of an action officer and provide support for “Nuclear Delivery Systems” program management. The employee would be expected to work on-site at the Pentagon or Mark Center 4-5 days per week.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of recent and relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, business management or related field
- Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Experience providing strategic technical oversight of projects
- Work experience in positions requiring proficient oral, written, and strategic communications
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams, Access, Excel applications
- Demonstrated success in the conception and execution of technical projects
