JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
The Electro-Optics Center (EOC), located in Freeport PA, a Division in the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University, is seeking engineers with expertise in Optical Communications, supporting military and intelligence community customers.
ARL is an authorized DoD SkillBridge partner and welcomes all transitioning military members to apply.
Responsibilities include :
- Perform research and development tasks in optical communications
- Communicate and document results in reports and presentations
- Assist with development of proposals for projects
- Lead project efforts
Higher-level responsibilities include :
This position will be filled as a level 3 or level 4 depending upon the successful candidate’s education and experience. Typically requires a Master's Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline and five years related experience for a level 3. Additional experience, education, and / or competencies are required for higher-level positions.
