Applied Research Solutions is seeking a Process Engineer. The Engineer will perform work that applies a broad theoretical and practical knowledge of system engineering within SATCOM, Nuclear, and software intensive system environments.

Responsibilities Include :
The individual shall be able to :
Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.
Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, and modifying manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data.
Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes.
Perform process simulations.
Manage cost and time constraints.
Perform risk assessments.
Provide process documentation and operating instructions.

Qualifications / Technical Experience Requirements :
Must be a US citizen
Active Secret Security Clearance
Advanced Engineering degree preferred, and 5 years must be in the DoD, OR a BA / BS degree and 15 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, of which 5 years must be in the DoD, or 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, of which 8 years must be in the DoD.
