About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Project Director to lead our mobile development efforts. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving successful feature and update delivery within a mobile app ecosystem, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
You'll need to have a proven track record of managing large-scale projects, a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of mobile app projects and feature releases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable tasks for the development team.
- Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and team velocity tracking.
- Work daily with offshore development teams to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.
- Track project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables, and report status to leadership.
- Partner with design, QA, product, and engineering to ensure successful and timely releases.
- Proactively identify risks, remove blockers, and drive resolution.
- Maintain strong documentation and ensure adherence to agile best practices.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years focused on mobile applications.
- Experience managing large-scale projects.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, Confluence).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with mobile development concepts (React Native experience is a plus).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
