What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Applied Resource Group?
Summary of Position
Candidate’s main area of responsibility is to support the local Branch & Safety Department with administrative and clerical functions, including but not limited to welcoming suppliers and customers, maintain a clean & organized entryway, answering phones, ordering office supplies, entering training data. It is required that the candidate have the willingness and ability to learn new systems, work well with others, and conscientious of deadlines.
Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Candidate must be familiar or willing to learn all systems, and procedures. The candidate will work with the accounting department & hiring center daily to welcome, register and process a high volume of data entry. The candidate must be willing to excel at customer service. The candidate will learn all the software programs, databases and platforms utilized in the safety department. The incumbent will use his/her knowledge of the specialty construction business, compliance, company policies, and company systems to assist the safety department in ensuring effective and compliant.
Experience and Training Required to Perform Job
- 2 years of experience in industrial or construction business or in customer service, preferred but not required.
- Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish) required. Must be able to read & write in both.
- Team player with strong ethical behavior and mindset
- Effective and professional communications, both verbal and written
- Knowledgeable and comfortable with computer systems
