Position Overview
We are currently expanding and seeking dedicated and highly motivated individuals to join our successful recruiting team. We are looking for candidates who understand how to work collaboratively and seamlessly in a team focused environment. The primary responsibilities of the Recruiting Manager will be focused around sourcing and screening candidates to support client requirements in the Atlanta, GA market, as well as leading and managing a team of other recruiters.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end IT recruitment efforts, specializing in cloud computing, software development, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and enterprise applications.
- Consult with hiring managers to understand client needs, market conditions, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Utilize strategic sourcing techniques (cold outreach, direct headhunting, passive talent engagement, and AI-driven search tools).
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) within IT recruitment, staying ahead of hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and technical talent movement.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring consistent communication and alignment on hiring strategies.
- Meet/exceed performance expectations for quotas and GM while simultaneously supporting and tracking performance of your team.
- Become an expert within your industry vertically and develop a concrete understanding of complex technical requirements to accurately identify ideal candidates.
- Maintain and post job descriptions on internal company and 3rd party career boards, and filter incoming applications.
- Schedule daily phone appointments with prospective candidates to perform prescreens.
- Provide timely information to candidates with regards to potential employment and consulting opportunities.
- Maintain company Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in Bullhorn including updating candidate records, email marketing lists, salary requirements, and individual candidate notes.
- Perform and coordinate all tasks necessary for filling assigned open.
- Develop, maintain, and increase candidate relationships in branch territory.
- Responsible for the coordination and successful completion of all pre-employment screening steps (i.e. reference checks, Predictive Index, background checks, scheduling occupational health, etc.)
- Responsible for the coordination and successful completion of all new hire offer letters and related information.
- Work directly with the sales team to promote strong candidates to potential clients in order to obtain new business within our target market.
- Cultivate relationships with our clients and be able to communicate with them effectively regarding open positions, desired candidate attributes, and ongoing interviews.
- Serve as resident expert on recruitment application database including training, trouble shooting and communication with technical support, and continuously learning best practices for maximum use.
- Actively participate in training of new technical recruiters on our team by exemplifying best practices, recruiting process, and techniques for success.
- Provide continued mentorship to junior and senior recruiters as they are learning and mastering their skills and abilities.
- Coach and foster a team of 2-5 recruiters by holding them accountable, making sure they are obtaining KPIs and quotas, and developing them professionally.
- Drive performance reviews and steps towards advancement for your team, such as bi-weekly check-ins, 90-day reviews, annual reviews, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- 5 years of agency recruiting experience within Information Technology staffing.
- 2 years of leadership experience, coaching and managing recruiters in a performance-driven environment.
- Strong ability to identify and engage passive IT talent, using advanced sourcing techniques.
- Expertise in strategic talent acquisition and consultative recruitment.
- Experience leading intake meetings, managing client expectations, and delivering high-caliber IT talent.
- Strong public speaking and/or presentation skills
- Previous experience in a leadership or management capacity
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Proven success in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of sales and marketing concepts
- Prior experience in Business to Business Sales (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
Compensation: Base Salary Commission
Salary : $90,000 - $112,500
