Job Overview :
We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. This role is responsible for developing strategies, overseeing inventory management, and implementing best practices to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategy & Planning :
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with business goals and projected growth.
- Implement and oversee the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process to improve demand forecasting and supply planning.
- Collaborate with Sales, Materials, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure resource alignment.
- Design and implement supply chain models that enhance operational efficiency.
Inventory Management & Control :
Analyze inventory levels to optimize stock turnover, reduce waste, and improve customer service.Monitor demand forecasts and assess their impact on supply chain activities.Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for raw materials and finished goods inventory.Supply Chain Operations :
Lead procurement, material requirements planning, inventory control, and warehousing activities.Establish performance metrics to evaluate supply chain efficiency, product cost, delivery times, and supplier performance.Document and refine supply chain processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks while addressing tactical challenges.Logistics & Material Handling :
Assess and optimize material handling processes to improve warehouse and distribution efficiency.Oversee logistics operations to reduce costs through shipment consolidation and efficient distribution practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering changes, product expansions, and new product launches to ensure smooth supply chain transitions.Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related Business field.APICS CPIM Certification (or willingness to obtain).10 years of progressive experience in planning, logistics, procurement, and inventory control.7 years of direct management experience in supply chain or materials management within an industrial manufacturing environment.Proficiency in MRP / ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Ability to work cross-functionally and drive process improvements.Physical Requirements :
Frequent exposure to manufacturing areas requiring personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and hearing protection.Ability to walk and stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time) while navigating the shop floor.Work environment includes an office workstation equipped with a telephone, headset, and computer .What We Offer :
