What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics Technician position at Applied Systems Engineering Inc?
ASE seeks to hire an electronic technician working out of ASE offices in Campbell, CA. This position is accountable assembly of PCB’s and other hardware components into finished products as well as testing and troubleshooting problems and managing RMA repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Use assembled printed circuit boards, sub-assemblies and cable harness to make finished products
- Board bring-up, test, debug, and rework
- Load firmware and test and validate the functioning of the product
- Do signal integrity checks and continuity checks on units that are not operating as expected
- Cable assembly and mechanical assembly design review and prototyping
- Manage RMA testing / troubleshooting and repair
- Executing the assembly as per defined process
- Quality testing of finished product
Qualifications:
- At-least a high school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience or junior college diploma with 2 years of experience.
- Good written and oral English communication skills
- Previous experience or training or education in power / utility business or electronic / electrical / science courses is a plus
- Systematic, Deadline and detail-oriented
- Self-starter - able to work with minimal supervision
