Description:
The Financial Analyst will oversee the financial health and resource allocation of contracts. The Financial Analyst will also perform company financial management activities. This position will report to the Director of Operations who may widen the scope of this job description to further support the business operations as skills are developed. Responsibilities include:
- Program Finance. Responsible for monitoring the finances of each project and reporting. Work closely with the PM. Enter and adjust work assignments in the accounting system.
- Accounting. Duties may include making journal entries, vendor invoices, vendor payments, post labor, post revenue, create invoices, enter customer payments of A/R.
- Subcontracts/Procurement. May be required to input Purchase Requests. Monitor performance on PO and/or Subcontracts. Review and process payments.
- Day-to-day activities such as budgeting and putting efficient workflows in place to maximize a company’s productivity and performance.
- Develop and communicate improved procedures for daily workflow.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Masters in Accounting or related field
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in program finance for DoD contracts
- Secret DOD Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret DOD Clearance
- Strong oral and written communication skills
