Civil Litigation Attorney, Personal Injury Defense

Description

Applied Underwriters is an expanding global insurance company looking to add expertise to its in-house legal staff. We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Defense Attorney to work in our Woodland Hills office.

Requirements

  • California State Bar membership.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • At least three years of experience as a Personal Injury Defense Attorney.
  • Case management, interviewing witnesses, written discovery, depositions of lay and expert witnesses, defending clients at depositions, mediation and settlement conferences, and communicating with and responding to clients and adjusters.
  • Law and motion experience, including discovery and dispositive motions.
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Prepared to submit a writing sample.
