What are the responsibilities and job description for the Belt Technician position at applied.valhalla.stage?
What you’ll do:
As a Belt Technician at Applied Industrial Technologies, you’ll help our customers by fabricating and repairing a variety of belts and rubber components both in the shop and onsite. Some more details about what you will be doing includes the following:
- Install and vulcanize conveyor belting.
- Pick up and deliver orders, stock and supplies.
- Travel nationally with a team of trained technicians to perform conveyor installs and repairs at customer locations.
- Work in a manner that ensures the safety of everyone involved. Exercise proper care in the use of tools and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by managers.

Requirements:
- Mechanical background, working on cars, equipment, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, as well as ability to work at heights and tight spaces.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed.
- Valid driver's license.
