Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Full-Stack Developer, to provide strategic and tactical leadership for the design, build, implementation and maintenance of our eCommerce solution. This position will require you to have technical skills to troubleshoot production issues, plan for software upgrades, support implementations of new functionality and to assist with setting strategic direction for our e-commerce platforms to meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Leading design and developing large enterprise-class e-commerce solutions (B2B)
- Serving as technical development lead for all e-commerce solutions
- Estimating the level of effort required to accomplish tasks and work within a defined process to do so
- Following coding standards and participating in code reviews
- Interfacing between marketing, sales and development teams
- Serving as the technology SME on the e-business team
- Solution & technology research, cost analysis, risk identification, implementation strategies
- Full stack e-commerce development
- N-Tier applications and service-oriented architecture including databases (SQL and NoSQL) and middleware (Java APIs, Java Web Services)
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Required Skillsets:
- 5 years’ experience with eCommerce platforms
- 5 years’ experience cloud native application deployment
- Must have knowledge of search engines, punchout, credit card processing
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges and technical blocks for the development team
- Responsive web development
- HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS
- CCv2/Hybris experience Preferred
- Experience with Magento &/OR Apache Tomcat preferred
- Experience JIRA and source control (BitBucket) preferred
