As an Office Manager, you will provide site leadership with emphasis on customer service support for a high volume order fulfillment center. Responsible for the daily direction of personnel teams, budgets & activities to meet P&L targets and performance metrics
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provides site leader support for entire distribution center operations while ensuring KPI’s are achieved by using Lean focused efforts.
- Dedicated to customer needs and delivers on commitments with urgency; Provides value-added service at every touch point.
- Drives cost savings & process efficiencies by collaborating with personnel, network, Corporate, Service Centers & supplier while promoting idea generation
- Discusses office procedure matters with the DC Manager and makes recommendations for improvement.
- Maintains accurate, complete and timely records of business transactions.
- Uses formal and informal tools and techniques to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Access to assets within area of responsibility is permitted only in accordance with general or specific authorization.
- Hires, effectively leads, coaches & develops associates utilizing performance management/ goal setting tools and following company standards and policies. Champion the development of management and associate competencies, driving individual and team goals.
- Responsible for planning, supervising and monitoring the performance of all office functions in the Distribution Center involving procurement, stocking, and shipment of parts and materials; the data entry and report processing of a computerized inventory system; and other secretarial and clerical duties
Position Requirements:
- Persuasive communicator / strong facilitator / structured and logical thinker
- Solid computer skills: Excel, Power Point, Access, etc.
- WMS experience preferred
- Lean background preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Solid analytical and problem solving skills
- Equivalent to two years of college
- 3-5 years of business, Lean and or customer service experience
