Applied Video Imaging, located in Charlottesville, VA, is seeking a full-time Electronics Assembly Technician to manufacture video avionics equipment. AVI manufactures and designs rugged video systems for airborne, ground vehicle, and marine applications. The Electronics Assembly Technician will assemble final products, aid in managing inventory, prepare and modify PCBs, and operate our laser etching and vinyl cutting machines.
Job functions include but are not limited to:
- Product component fabrication
- PCB preparation and assembly
- Mechanical assembly
- Assembly documentation
- Product testing
- Completing product testing documentation
- Product shipping preparation
- Laser etching
- Vinyl cutting
These functions require the following skills:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Soldering
- Problem-solving
- Ability to use electronic measurement equipment
- Electronic troubleshooting
- Computer skills with Microsoft Windows products
