AppliedVR is creating a new reality in healthcare. We are pioneering immersive therapeutics (ITx), a new category of medicine, to treat intractable health conditions that affect millions of people around the world. By harnessing the unique properties of immersive therapeutics, we are developing a biopsychosocial solution to address conditions such as chronic pain and behavioral and mental health disorders. Today, our virtual reality-based treatments represent a comprehensive approach to chronic pain that empowers patients with an intuitive device they can self-manage at home. AppliedVR's RelieVRx is the first VR-based, prescription therapeutic to receive Breakthrough Therapy Designation and De Novo authorization by the FDA for chronic lower back pain (CLBP). CLBP affects 45 million people in the U.S. alone. We are poised to help millions more through our substantial development pipeline that addresses additional multi-dimensional conditions.
