Duties
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects.
- Utilize software tools to create detailed cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project management teams to ensure that estimates are accurate and reflect current market conditions.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Monitor ongoing projects for cost control and provide updates on budgetary concerns.
- Prepare detailed reports that outline estimated costs, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses.
- Review contracts to ensure compliance with all specifications and requirements.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating software.
