DESCRIPTION
- Codes all outpatient records, including REF, CLI. With appropriate ICD 10 and CPT coding.
- Check for NCD for payment purposes. Crosstrain with ER / SDS / Inpatient and observation as well as GBH coding.
- Check all outpatient orders for signatures and diagnosis and sends them back to doctors if one is not there.
- Maintain confidentiality at all time in accordance with Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Follow up with departments should any clarification be needed.
- Check for NCD for payment purposes.
- Maintains productivity report.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Good communication with doctors and nurses
- Prior experience as an analyst preferred but not required
