Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate recordkeeping, and support the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks—with SAP experience being a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
· Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable (A/P), and accounts receivable (A/R).
· Generate timely and accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
· Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
· Process A/P invoices, track and manage vendor payments, and ensure all payments are made on time.
· Handle customer invoicing, manage collections, and issue statements as needed.
· Post general ledger adjustments, process accruals, and record payroll journal entries accurately.
· Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks; familiarity with SAP is a strong plus.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
· Proficiency in QuickBooks; experience with SAP is highly desirable.
· High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Education & Experience:
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
· 5 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
