About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Composites Inspection Expert to join our team at Applus Laboratories. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and a deep understanding of inspection requirements within the aerospace industry.
The ideal candidate will be certified to NAS410 standards, have experience working with automated UT systems, and be proficient in organizing and reporting test results. Additionally, they will possess excellent communication skills and be able to provide on-the-job training to junior technicians.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform and maintain quality control requirements as outlined in Arcadia's procedure manual and customer specifications.
- Establish work instructions and technical data sheets for setup and processing of inspection programs.
- Accept or reject products based on provided standards and record specific inspection data.
- Interpret and implement customer specifications and standards.
- Directly assist in the training and qualification of trainees and junior technicians through on-the-job training practices.
