What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Systems Engineer position at Applus+ Reliable Analysis?
We are expanding our testing laboratory and service offerings by providing testing and engineering services to manufacturers and key suppliers in the transportation, automotive, defense and industrial sectors.
The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks including preparation, setup, testing, evaluation and monitoring of samples/parts according to Applus-Reliable Analysis SOPs and designated standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate test equipment such as pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic systems, electro dynamic shakers and environmental chambers.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure up-to-date calibration on equipment prior to use.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role or related field.
- Familiarity with industry-standard testing procedures and protocols.
