We are currently seeking a Quality/Calibration Manager to work directly in our Madison Heights laboratory. This role will involve ensuring robust testing services for external customers as part of Applus RA's expansion into the transportation, automotive, defense, and industrial sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading ISO 17025 audits, internal audits, round robins, proficiency tests, calibration programs, document control, and other activities to maintain accreditation to ISO and client-specific Automotive requirements. Additionally, they will oversee site audits conducted by regulatory agencies and clients as needed, maintain a state of preparedness for these audits via task schedules, and review reports for compliance with requested regulations and procedures.
This role also involves participating in the creation, review, and approval of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), logging and resolving customer and internal complaints, participating in the development of reports on QA activities, and mentoring personnel on corporate and quality policies and procedures.
