What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front End Developer position at Apply Connect Test Company 3?
Tactical Objectives
- Design and develop clean, top-quality user interfaces using HTML5, CSS and Javascript.
- Work with the lead UX designer on upcoming solutions and handling multiple projects.
- Develop prototypes and architectures for new concepts and technologies.
- Work with the Product Design team, to create Teletrac Navman web and mobile applications
- Participate in project briefs, design sessions, and code reviews
- Translate UI/UX design wire frames to actual code, bridging the gap between graphical design and technical implementation
- Responsible for the design and development of re-usable components and the maintenance of the pattern library, graphics, multimedia, GUIs.
- Ensure all application CSS, images, and content is optimized for responsive design
- Continue to expand knowledge of new technologies, as well as strengthen current knowledge base
- Open to colleague feedback and ideas they may have on improving what is offered
- Exhibit collegial and constructive behavior at all times and work to ensure a positive working environment
- Proactively removes barriers that prevents cross functional working, and facilitates inter-team cooperation
- Other duties/projects, as needed
- At least 2 years of experience as a UI designer, interaction designer, front end developer or similar UI/UX related role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, interaction design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related field
- HTML5, CSS and Javascript
- Portfolio to accompany resume
