The Facilities Maintenance Associate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functional school building. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Empty trash and recycling containers daily, or as needed.
- Respond to accidents and potential safety hazards, such as spills and restroom issues.
- Notify school officials of maintenance needs and repairs throughout the building.
- Maintain the appearance of the outside of the building through trash pick-up and other tasks as assigned.
Education and Experience
- A GED or high school diploma is required.
- Related experience or training is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
