• Operate plant functions from the control room under the direction of the control room lead operator
• Manage chip feed, fuel feed, furnace, dryer, and secondary sizing
• Manage and monitor various levels and feed rates as instructed by the control room lead operator
• Monitor spark detection system
• Multi-task with equipment alarms
• Keeps detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
• Ensure all work is performed in a timely and safe manner
• Utilize skills to improve equipment optimization and reliability
• Maintain logs, record labor, material, and equipment used
• Meticulous attention to detail; able to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Perform other related duties and serve as a back-up resource as assigned
• Submit reports in accordance with reporting directives

• High school diploma or equivalent education; trade school or college preferred.
• One year of in-plant manufacturing experience
• Ability to work independently and utilize critical problem-solving and decision-making skills to generate and implement solutions throughout the process
• Must have proficient computer skills
• Knowledge or ability to learn how to operate HMI touchscreens
• Must possess basic math skills
• Must maintain compliance with all LOTO, confined space, hot work, and working at heights policies
• OSHA 10 training and experience
• Ability to work extended hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to continuously walk or stand, bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift items above shoulders
• Ability to work outdoors, rotating shifts, and lift 50 pounds required

Salary : $20 - $22
