Job Duties
- Design and develop propulsion systems, including thrusters, propellant management systems, structural components, and ground support equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate propulsion systems into spacecraft and satellite platforms, ensuring seamless compatibility.
- Develop and execute test plans for propulsion systems, conducting performance and reliability testing to validate functionality and compliance.
- Perform detailed performance analysis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimization strategies.
- Manage complex engineering projects, defining scope, timelines, and resources to meet quality and performance standards.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and technical manuals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, employing analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and contribute to innovation in propulsion technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Propulsion Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in propulsion engineering, focusing on designing and developing propulsion systems for aerospace or space technology.
- Strong knowledge of propulsion system design, including liquid rocket engines, thrusters, and propellant systems.
- Proficiency with engineering tools and simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, ANSYS).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and collaborate with diverse teams.
Preferred Experience
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- Expertise in advanced propulsion technologies, high-performance engines, and propulsion system integration.
- Familiarity with cutting-edge testing and validation techniques.
- Extensive experience in the aerospace or space technology sectors, with a strong understanding of the challenges associated with propulsion systems for space missions.
