Job Duties

• Design and develop propulsion systems, including thrusters, propellant management systems, structural components, and ground support equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate propulsion systems into spacecraft and satellite platforms, ensuring seamless compatibility.
• Develop and execute test plans for propulsion systems, conducting performance and reliability testing to validate functionality and compliance.
• Perform detailed performance analysis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimization strategies.
• Manage complex engineering projects, defining scope, timelines, and resources to meet quality and performance standards.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, employing analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and contribute to innovation in propulsion technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Propulsion Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in propulsion engineering, focusing on designing and developing propulsion systems for aerospace or space technology.
• Strong knowledge of propulsion system design, including liquid rocket engines, thrusters, and propellant systems.
• Proficiency with engineering tools and simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, ANSYS).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred Experience

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Expertise in advanced propulsion technologies, high-performance engines, and propulsion system integration.
• Familiarity with cutting-edge testing and validation techniques.
• Extensive experience in the aerospace or space technology sectors, with a strong understanding of the challenges associated with propulsion systems for space missions.
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and contribute to developing next-generation space technologies.
• Relevant certifications in propulsion engineering or project management are a plus.

Security Clearance

• Must be able to obtain US Secret clearance.
